your Initial smile consultation visit

Complimentary PRIVATE Consultation with Dr. Patel in our State-of-the-Art Examination Room.

We feel it is very important to get to know our new patients personally and also, for the patient to get to know us. Because this time is as much a relationship building activity as it is an actual orthodontic examination, our new patients and parents leave the initial examination visit feeling much more relaxed and at ease with the entire orthodontic process.

On your first visit, Dr. Patel, will personally examine you and discuss your chief concern(s) in our private and state-of-the-art examination room. We would want to talk to you about your concerns whether it is esthetics, a problem or problems that are concerning you about your smile or whether you were referred by your Family Dentist, your Pediatric Dentist, your friends or neighbors for Orthodontic concerns.

    Financial Information

HOW DO WE DETERMINE THE TREATMENT FEE?

Investing in your SMILE can pay important dividends in terms of self esteem, confidence, career and relationships. We have many options available at our office that make treatment affordable for all financial levels. The ability to achieve the smile you’ve always wanted and deserve is now possible at Maple Lawn Orthodontics. At our Initial Consultation Appointment, our financial coordinator will discuss the financial options including insurance coverage.

  • Our fees are determined after evaluation of each individual case. Dr. Patel strongly believes that your smile is just like your fingerprints – there’s not another one like it!  Therefore, we do not believe that one fixed fee fits all treatment plan(s) or every treatment plan follows a “cook book” recipe!

Orthodontic treatment fees are based on one or more of the following general guidelines that Dr. Patel takes into consideration:

    • Nature of the orthodontic problem(s)
    • Complexity of the case
    • Treatment time
    • Treatment plan selected
    • Desired end result
    • Type of appliances (such as self-braces, clear braces, aligners and many other treatment appliances)
    • Any special concerns or circumstances that may be involved in each individual case

  • FINANCIAL OPTIONS:

The decision to enter orthodontic treatment is a commitment, both financially and emotionally. The excitement of achieving the Beautiful Smile is coupled with determining whether it financially makes sense. At Maple Lawn Orthodontics, we realize the financial impact and we can work within your budget with many payment plans.

  • Orthodontic treatment is an excellent investment in the overall dental, medical and psychological well being of the children and adults. Therefore, we believe that financial considerations should not be an obstacle to a beautiful smile.

  • Ask for our Flexible Financing that fits every budget:
  • Our practice offers a wide range of payment options for each individual budget from the more common in-office interest free plan upon credit approval to other options that including third party financing with no initial payment and low monthly installment payment plans for qualified individuals.  We accept Lending Club Patient Solutions and CareCredit.  Simply click on these convenient links and get a payment plan that fits your budget.

For your payment convenience, we accept payment by Check, Cash, VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit cards.

  • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA):
  • Using Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) to pay for treatment allows you to use pre-tax dollars for treatment. Many flexible spending accounts let you put up to $2800/year toward qualified health care expenses which includes orthodontics. This amount varies yearly based on your employer. With HSA accounts, you may be able to pay for the entire treatment pre-tax. Speak to your HR or your accountant for information regarding qualified health care expenses.
  • INSURANCE PLANS:

Our insurance coordinator will be glad to assist you in filing your orthodontic insurance. Please bring your insurance information at your initial consultation appointment. Although our insurance coordinator may be able to assist you in maximizing your benefits, we, however, strongly recommend that patients review and fully understand their dental contract before starting orthodontic treatment. Most plans do not pay for the entire cost of the orthodontic treatment. There may be a deductible clause, a dollar limit and excluded services. If you do not know whether your dental insurance plan covers orthodontic services, you are encouraged to contact your human resources or benefits department at work, or your insurance company directly, who can outline the extent of your orthodontic benefits.

For your convenience, we can file your insurance claims pertaining to any orthodontic care rendered by our office. We ask that you provide us with your claim form wherein all the pertinent information is accurately and completely filled.  We accept many insurance plans benefits and will be happy to process your insurance claims that will make your orthodontic treatment not only affordable but an easier process overall!
